Worst First Date - With a Car Dealer

Submitted by a female from Connecticut.

My worse first date was with a man who owned a car dealership. He asked me out to a car auction which sounded like fun. We arrived at the car auction and it was kind of fun for a while, but after a free hours it was boring. The cars are all running at the car auction so the exhaust fumes were sickening and dinner ended being Macaroni and cheese plus a hot dog from the auction concession stand.

After he had purchased all the cars he asked if I would mind driving one back to his lot about an hour away. He said he would be ahead of me and if I had any problems with the car to flash my lights and he would pull over (it was about 11:30 p.m). Then he asked if his dog a Rottweler could ride in the car with me because the seats were more comfortable for the dog. So I said okay. On the way home the "engine" light when on and I flashed my lights but he must not have seen them so when I pulled over he did not. So I was alone on the side of a highway with a dog that was huge and not seeming to friendly. Then a car pulls up next to me and a man gets out and comes up to my car and starts tapping on the window.

I was scared, but it turns out he got a flat and wanted to know if I had a cell phone. Then a policeman pulls up to make sure we were okay and he asked me the name of the dealership which I did not know and the last name of the person I was on the date with which he did not know. I ended up on the side of the road for a few hours because my date did not realize I was not behind him till he got to car lot. Then he finally came and got me and I went home very tired and aggravated.

First Date - Picnic at the Beach

A good first date in a tight economy would definitely be a picnic at the beach. The dates could pack a picnic Lunch with breads and cheeses and wine and water. a blanket and maybe a cd player for music. A single rose which may run you maybe five dollars or less. This is something simple as well as inexpensive which shows the person that they are not attempting to be flashy, but just giving the attention that they deserve.

The final activity would be a nice stroll hand in hand on the beach under the sun setting, moon rising night. Then a drive home and a Kiss until the next date.

First Date - A Park with Swings and Slides

Firstly, I am a male, and I live in Israel.

Going to a park with swings and slides is always a good idea. It regresses both of you and makes a wonderful connection. Preferably at night or evening, when the kids aren't playing there. Afterward, a walk and even sitting somewhere where there is as little artificial light as possible. This will enable you to watch the stars as you talk and get to know each-other. Watching the stars will calm both of you down in case you get nervous or too excited. And of course it will make a good romantic scene. All of this will begin if you take your date to dinner, and there, bring the idea of going to a park to mind. Good Luck.

First Date - Free Lecture at a University

I think the ideal first date is to go to a free lecture at a university together. Check out online listings for potential lecture times, or simply stop by the campus and look at some promotional fliers. When you go to a lecture with your date, you'll both get to hear some engaging and cutting-edge ideas about history, literature, or art.

Then, afterward, you can go out for coffee or a drink, and you'll have some interesting new information to discuss with each other. I really like the lecture idea because it gives you a foundation for your first conversation, so that you're not worried about finding topics to talk about. Best of all, you'll learn something new from the lecture, and you'll also learn about the way that your date processes information.

Worst First Date - Cruising around Walmart.

I am a female and live in MO in the US.

My worst first date was with this guy my friends set me up with. We lived in a small town with nothing to do, so we went to cruise around Walmart for a while.

Afterwards, we were bored so decided to just go driving and look at the stars. Well, one thing led to another, and the guy made some moves on me.

I liked him a lot, he was a really nice guy, but he was a terrible kisser. It literally hurt! It felt like he was trying to eat my face. He was very agressive with his making out, lol. He needed to slow it down several notches for a first date.
